Project Details
Arterra was engaged by Bankstown City Council to deliver the Stage 1 upgrade works to the Memorial Park.
The site was surrounded by overgrown vegetation and the new design focussed on opening and improving sightlines into the park.
The upgrade included a new entry signage wall featuring glazed bricks, new footpaths, BBQ shelters and play equipment.
The park provides the perfect setting for tai chi, meditation and small wedding ceremonies. The shelters and play equipment are well used for small picnic lunches and family events.
